Political Risk Workshops

What is the difference between "political risk" and "country risk”?

How are political and country risk measured?

How does political or country risk affect your industry?

What are the risks of investing in emerging markets?

What political forces may affect your business decisions?

How can you adapt your company’s risk model?

How can your firm develop a customized risk assessment?

Workshop Facilitator:  Llewellyn D. Howell, Ph.D., PRS Senior Adviser, and editor of The Handbook of Country and Political Risk Analysis.

Companies invest billions of dollars internationally, at times without fully understanding the risks in dealing with other governments and economies.  Is your company taking advantage of all of the information available?  Does your company have a risk model?  Is your risk model right for your industry and your company?   PRS can arrange for one or more of our experts to sit down with your experts to help create a customized risk model for your organization.

Because of the specialized nature of this service, a workshop cannot be ordered online.  To request more information on pricing, workshop content, group sizes, and timing, please email info@prsgroup.com or call The PRS Group at +1 (315) 431-0511.

Consultations & Special Projects

Evaluating an organization’s major international business opportunities and risks may require specialized research and analysis, or perhaps just an opportunity to talk with a political or country risk expert.  Customized projects range from fact sheets of data for countries we do not usually monitor, to a major study printed and bound, converted to PDF format, or produced in other ways that meet a client’s specifications.  Here are a few examples of customized projects:

  •     Transfer risk prospects for selected countries
  •      Measurement of foreign direct investment climate for a range of countries
  •      Country risk ratings applicable to a unique industry
  •      Special study of Lebanon, or other country of current interest
  •      Outlook for political stability in Egypt

Because of the specialized nature of consultations and special report projects, they cannot be ordered online.  To request more information on pricing, content, and timing, please send an e-mail with a description of your proposed consultation or project needs to info@prsgroup.com or call The PRS Group at +1 (315) 431-0511.
