With the Fed entering 2023 apparently determined to make sure it wins the war on inflation, here’s a very good synopsis of a recent IMF Working Paper that revisits the relationship equity returns and inflation, specifically under different monetary policy regimes.

The study’s findings provide some insight into possible sequencing of developed and emerging market exposures.
