ALBANIA, July 2025: Economy Powers Ahead

“The economy is a major plus for the country’s risk profile, with strong growth, low inflation, and a government that is avoiding fiscal recklessness all mitigating the risks, of which labor shortages due to emigration is a problem for skills availability and future growth potential. Already a key beneficiary of European financial assistance, with various agreements to bolster the economy, the government has been able to invest substantially in key infrastructure projects, notably road and railway rehabilitation, ICT network expansion, and energy efficiency, including a new solar photovoltaic plant.”

From our Country Reports and Economic Forecasts (CREF) on Albania.  In addition to three probability scenarios for regime-types over 18-month and five-year periods, eleven types of government intervention that could prove injurious to investors and business, there is data galore. Have a look when time permits.
