ANGOLA: Findings from the IMF’s Selected Issues Series Using Our ICRG Corruption Data

The findings are instructive because it really highlights the challenges facing some government in eradicating graft.  The paper notes rightly that there has been some very notable success in Angola in fighting corruption, but shortcomings are present – indeed items PRS/ICRG sees in many countries what we deal with and assess on a regular basis – such as pursuing high-profile corruption cases, and the relative absence of actionable measures.
